NOTES:  If you look at this set-list, you have to be thinking, “Wow, that’s a lot in one service!”.  You’re telling me. I thought the same thing!  Although it looks like a massive set, I know that we laid it all on the table this morning.  We came for a purpose, “to worship the King of kings” and it showed!  Jesus was praised!  It was intense!  I loved it.

It was amazing to watch all the people come together with different styles of music, gifts, and talents to worship God. The place was packed, the people were excited, and the Lord was glorified. Big things are happening at HCC for sure.  If you were gone this morning, you missed out big time.

I can’t wait for next week!  We are getting out of the building and going outside for a good-ol-fashion outdoor service at Silver Lake!  Billy Sunday would be so proud.

How was your Sunday?

The place was packed? Super. Our pastor was gone, and it seems people find out and take the week off, as if he reports to God with the attendance role. It sounds like your service was a home run. That’s cool. I love the songs. We love to kick things off with Come Now Is the Time to Worship. Simple message that says it all.

I love the Donnie McClurkin version of the song “Lord I lift your name”. I had shelved the song forever when I heard it… so it gave me a new way of doing it. A friend of mine gave me his charts for the very same song borrowing on the intro for the Jackson 5 song “I want you back”, which I found HILARIOUS and used about a month ago.

Your service DID look stacked, but it sounds like it was fun! Thanks for sharing!

Yeah–we all have Sunday’s like that.. but it seems that you did a lot of thinking through the flow. It worked. Loved the meet and creep title… brilliant!

    paul,

I would LOVE to hear that version with the Jackson 5 intro. Any recordings around of you doing it? Anyway I could get the charts too?

    Let me know.
