-I can’t stop moving for some reason. Every time I sit down, I’m uneasy or antsy. What’s the deal?
-Our first smallGOUP meeting is tonight. I can’t wait to get to know some people better, see others get more connected with individuals in our church, and re-establish unity in the local body. After tonight all smallGROUPS are lifted off the ground and doing great. It’s amazing to watch God move.
-Recently I’ve come to love candles (weird right?). When I was a kid my mom would never let me light them in fear that I would burn the house down (she was probably right). However, now that I’m “all grown up” (as she says), I find myself lighting them all the time.
-Here’s to the American entertainment machine we can television returning with a great line-up. Thanks to my endeavors of watching the first episode of each show, I am now hooked on 24, Hell’s Kitchen, Lost, The Office, and ER. Thank God for streaming internet sites like Hulu and the gift of multitasking or else there is no way I would be able to keep up.
-After the Steelers win the Super Bowl on Sunday, Matt Embry is buying me lunch. Thanks Matt.
-Thanks to facebook, I have re-connected with some old friends. Some are doing well, some not so well. Some are encouraging, some depressing. Regardless, the “conversations” we are having has been good. I have been able to offer some help from a distance and point them to people who could help them out spiritually. I would have never seen facebook as a ministry tool but it can be very effective when used right.
-Bethany is in Indiana until Sunday afternoon. She is playing in a wedding for some family. I miss her.
