NOTES: The week was a very “basic” week if you asked me, but it was filled with so many simple elements that worked to complement each other which made the outcome so powerful. Plus, everything ran smooth from the production side of the service which is always a plus.
In other notes, I like that we are starting our service off with announcements at the beginning. It’s a great way for our people to see the pastor and get the 411 out the gate. After the welcome, we kicked into “Everything Glorious” with a loop that set the mood of for the morning. With our people learning “Filled With Your Glory”, the two opening songs messed well. “Be Thou My Vision” was more of a “think piece” as we had the people sit down as the band sang the words. I think its good to sit the people down every now and again. Not sure, what do you think?
The message was also great today with a massive command to trust God through it all. The last two songs tied everything together wonderfully. It was so sweet to see simple things work together well. Simple done right has massive effects and it showed today in a major way.
Great job all the way around! Praise God for another great Sunday!

Love reading about loops being used in worship – sounds like a great simple morning with God.
