- I’m doing wedding number 2 today of my ministerial career. I got asked yesterday if I get nervous officiating. I think I get more nervous for the bride and groom than I get nervous about doing the actual wedding. I just want to make sure the day goes the way God wants it to go and that I can give the couple a special day they will remember forever. I was excited for them when I woke up this morning. What an awesome experience it is to get to share this day with them.
- Our church is taking off. The last couple of months have been extremely trying and difficult with so many twists and turns that were unexpected. We are pulling through with some amazing changes that I am pumped about. Everything from leadership changes to the start up of small groups, there is a lot to get excited about at Highland Community Church. This year will be awesome to watch God work.
- Football is coming to a close and March Madness is right around the corner. That also means that baseball spring training is right around the corner. Who’s excited? This guy!
- Speaking of football, my pick for the Super Bowl? Who else? The Pittsburgh Steelers.
- Melody (my sister-in-law) is in town. I love having family and friends at/in the house. It is so much fun to have other people coming and going besides Bethany and I. She’s a breath of fresh air.
