Let me bring you up to speed. There’s a pastor that’s a part of the Hillsong Church movement named Michael Guglielmucci. Long story short, one of his songs called “Healer” was on the top of the charts. It’s an amazing song. The most inspiring part of the song was the back story of Michael battling a rare form of cancer. Well, it turns out that Guglielmucci faked his terminal illness and is now claiming he is also addicted to porn.

Not sure how to respond but every bone in my body is angry. How do you lie about a terminal illness for over two years? How do you wear an oxygen mask around all the time knowing your a lier? The song is so good and yes, it can still be used in ministry but what in the world was he thinking?

Praise God that he had the conviction to confess… and now what is left is FORGIVENESS… Who will cast the first stone? The song “Healing” still stand true and we do serve an awesome God that forgives and heals that has more grace than what we deserve. The truth shall set us free…and it does
