I just saw that the mac released another keynote address from WWDC. You can watch it here. I love Steve Jobs. Let me tell you why.
- He uses powerpoint the way it was supposed to be used. Not only that, but he does it very, very well. His slides are simple. They highlight what he is trying to say. The powerpoint doesn’t say his speech, it’s an aid. The slides are never overloaded or complex. I wish more teachers and pastors would use powerpoint the way he does. It would help a visual generation understand things better.
- He simplifies everything he does. When Apple realized that simplicity sells, they blew up. Look at the Apple website and almost all of their products. They are simple and easy to use and they look sweet. When something is complex, apple will jump in and helps you learn what you need to know. Their help videos are absolutely incredible.
- Steve let’s the product speak for itself. Steve is a HUGE dork. Look at him. He wears a black shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. However, Steve takes a backseat to his product. He realizes that it’s not about him but about his product and it pays off in huge ways. People know Steve Jobs and Apple go hand in hand.
- He’s convinced that his product will change your life. His message consists of when you will buy an apple product, not why you should buy an apple product.
Apple blows me away. (Did I mention that I wanted a macbook for my birthday? It’s 20 days away. I’ll take all the help I can get.)
