*Realize the following statements are not directed to all Christians. However, there seems to be a tend as I am spending more and more time “in the world”. These past couple of weeks I have spent some time with “Christian” brothers and sisters. The following are just observations with some people who claim to have a relationship with Christ who are “in the world”. Remember, we must always continue to love all people regardless of where they are in life. Continue to push people closer to a relationship with Jesus Christ. The closer we grow to Christ, the more the things of this world will fading away. Never stop pursuing your personal relationship with Jesus. Grow in the faith and ditch the diapers. Don’t give up the fight for eternity.
With that said, I just wondered, when did Christians…
- figure out that the bar was an alright place to go, after all, “there’s nothing else to do”?
- replace our positive uplifting language to offensive negative conversations?
- start looking at each other through the “I’m better than you” lens?
- start thinking one sin was greater than another?
- start worrying what the world thinks about us?
- Buy into the “everyday I try to do my best” approach to life concept?
- start polluting our body with an excess amount of things that we don’t need?
- stop preaching on gluttony?
- get soft?
Anything I forgot?
