Thoughts on Strategies Part 2

Questions

  1. Are we creating an avenue for people in our churches to radically experience God through fun, engaging, and interactive methods?
  2. Are we going out to the places that the unsaved are at to reach them for Christ or are we making them come to us?
  3. Are we scared of what others will say what we do whatever it takes to please the Lord?
  4. Are we evangelizing because the Christian life is awesome?

Quotes

  • “You can not pre-qualify the people you want to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
  • “We are not taking any heat or becoming uncomfortable in our approach and delivery of the gospel.”
  • “I walk a thin line on pleasing pleasing people and pleasing God.”
  • “Evangelism relay’s on the working of the Holy Spirit alone.”
  • “If you’re a pastor, your chief job is to be an infecter.”
  • “The reading of the scripture needs to be the most important part of church.”
  • “Negativity kills churches.”

The basics of Christianity consist of…

  1. God’s purpose
  2. Man’s need
  3. Christ provision
  4. man’s response

Do we forget these basics?  Do we make these principles more complex than they ought to be?  Do we add or take away to the message of Jesus Christ?

So much good material to think about.
